The Board of Regents will be considering changes to the Regent Admission Index later this academic year. For the most recent two recruitment cycles (fall 2021 and fall 2022 cohorts) the Board waived the ACT/SAT requirement due to COVID-related concerns. The changes currently under consideration would provide the Regents institutions with a test optional path for students on a longer term basis. Kristin Woods (Enrollment Management & Student Success), Kristin Moser (Institutional Effectiveness & Planning), and Terri Crumley (Admissions) will update the Senate about the current RAI, data pointing to which pre-college factors predict success after enrollment, and the new RAI proposal currently under consideration.
