Whereas Dhirendra K. Vajpeyi has met the requirements of emeritus status,

Whereas Gene M. Lutz has met the requirements of emeritus status, 

The Regents Awards for Faculty Excellence Committee has met and agreed on a list of recommended recipients for this year's awards.  According to the process, those recommendations are to be brought before the Faculty Senate to be discussed; they require Senate endorsement before moving forward in the process.  To maintain confidentiality, the names of recommended candidates should only be revealed to the Senate in closed session.

Whereas the Department of Technology has proposed to change the title of its doctoral program, from "Doctor of Technology" to "Doctor of Industrial Technology"and whereas this proposal has been unanimously approved by the department faculty and by the CHAS Senate,

Whereas James C. Walters has met the requirements of emeritus status,
