The General Education Revisioning Committee would like to provide an update to the Senate regarding some revisions they have made to the proposed structure of our general education program, based on feedback from their meetings with faculty. The GERC would also like to inform us of its plans to complete its work during the remaining weeks of the semester.
Therefore, be it resolved that the General Education Revisioning Committee has consulted with the University Faculty Senate.
These are supplemental materials received after the committe's Friday meeting. They include results of the recent survey as well as resulting adjustments to the structure recommended by the committee. Note also that the committee hopes to discuss an upcoming timeline of events, as well as the transition to the next committee structure.
