The Senate has been asked to hold a special meeting to hear and discuss recommendations made by the UNI Forward Together Teaching and Learning Subcommittee.

Having met all requirements, Bulent Uyar has requested Emeritus status.

Rick Knivsland (Department of Teaching) has requested Emeritus status.

The General Education Revisioning Committee would like to provide an update to the Senate regarding some revisions they have made to the proposed structure of our general education program, based on feedback from their meetings with faculty.  The GERC would also like to inform us of its plans to complete its work during the remaining weeks of the semester.

Faculty member Gloria Holmes (Curriculum & Instruction) has requested Emeritus status.

Michael Waggoner has requested Emeritus status, and has met all required conditions.

The Department of Marketing wishes to consult with the Faculty Senate regarding its proposal to change its name to the Department of Marketing & Entrepreneurship.

Robert Martin has requested Emeritus status.

The Interdisciplinary Task Force, charged by the Faculty Senate last year, completed its initial work and has submitted its report.
