Adequate consideration and consultation, regarding program terminations and name changes, are documented in attachments.  Therefore, be it resolved that the University Faculty Senate approves the Graduate College Curriculum Committee's program changes submitted on August 30, 2019.

Curriculum proposals that require Board of Regents approval, such as program name changes  and terminations, are handled before all other curriculum proposals in the annual curriculum  cycle. This year the UCC and the GCCC both met during the first week of classes (August 26th) to  begin our curriculum reviews. The changes must be approved by the Faculty Senate before they  can be moved to the BOR. Because the proposals have to be considered at three different  meetings in the BOR process, we have to start right away in Fall in order to make the schedule  for the 2020‐2021 catalog.
