Whereas, United Faculty and the Board of Regents have agreed to add language to the Master Agreement guaranteeing that faculty faced with dismissal are entitled to due process standards consistent with the Board's 1973 Procedure for Handling Faculty Dismissal Cases;

Therefore, be it resolved that the Senate create the Faculty Welfare Committee and charge it consistent with the 1973 Procedures;and, be it further resolved, that the Senate create procedures for selecting members of the Hearing Committee consistent with the 1973 Procedures.
