Be it resolved that the UNI Faculty Senate propose a revision of the Emeritus/a Policy 4.21 to include the eligibility of temporary faculty for emeritus/a status.

The Senate approved a revised Academic Freedom Policy 6.10 on September 24, 2018. Following the Senate's approval, the policy was reviewed by the UNI Policy Committee. The UNI Policy Committee referred the policy back the Educational Policy Committee for clarification on a few phrases. The EPC has completed the revisions requested by the UNI Policy Committee.

Be it resolved that the Senate create an ad hoc committee to 1) evaluate interdisciplinary infrastructures, including cross-curricular programs, centers, activities, and resources at UNI, 2) explore interdisciplinary infrastructures and activities at peer and/or sister institutions, and 3) report findings that include recommendations for developing interdisciplinary infrastructures at UNI.
